- Piping, tubing or coating failures due to corrosion and other metallurgical factors
- Improper water system startup and layover in buildings and plants from new construction or remodeling
- Asbestos (Mesothelioma) from older cooling towers or shipyard construction
AFA consultants have experience in most types of chillers and boiler systems, cooling towers, water preparation, once-through systems, process water, heat exchangers, process units, and commercial and institutional potable and wastewater systems. For our legal clients we do research, provide analysis and can define the root cause(s) of failures. We write professional expert reports and can provide testimony based on our experience with standards of care and through years of industry experience. Our experience includes water treatment and other methods for the prevention of Legionnaires Disease and related diseases along with expert knowledge of standards such as ASHRAE 514 and 188.
